I Miss Writing in My Journal
I just found this old photo of my journal in Baden, Germany. I think its gorgeous and should go up on my wall next to my desk. Journal writing in cafes is one of my favorite things about traveling. I loved Baden. A small resort town known for it's thermal bath spas and luxurious casino? Come on. That's all me—and perhaps a place I could talk John into visiting between one of his future EPT events.

Good luck tomorrow. This is going to seem like an odd question...but since you're a travel diva...and you live in Vegas...and you just posted a photo of one of your journals in a coffee house... Are there any cool coffee houses in Vegas? (I'll be there all next week and may be hooking up for a coffee date with another blogger who will also be visiting.)
Thanks!
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf has indoor/outdoor seating and free WiFi.
It's the one on Maryland Pkwy not far from the airport.
There's also free WiFi at the Krispy Kremes. I've used the one on Fremont Street (at Fitzgeralds?). Grittier than the Coffee Bean, but still fun to be if you're downtown.
Then there are Paneras that are off strip, but you'd have to look those up. I don't know where you'll be staying. Most Strip Hotels have internet access at $10.99-$15.99 per laptop for 24hours.
Good luck!
I love the Black and White Store. Nice outfit. Good luck today!!! I was at the blogger event Saturday but I didn't get to meet you. Hopefully next time.
Thanks so much for the coffee house tips! (I'll actually be staying with my mother in N. Vegas...but blogging buddy will be at the Stratosphere.) Good luck today!
P.S. I love White House/Black Market, too. It was the only place I really shopped when I lived on St. Thomas. Little did I know it was a CHAIN. :)
Writing in my journal while sipping a hot beverage was how I met you, actually. Starbucks, Eugene, probably 5 years ago already. Just wanted to let you know that I still keep up on your website. You really encouraged me that day with pursuing my writing. It's good to know you've become so successful.
Steven,
Wow! After all these years? I'm glad you could take away some inspiration. Thanks for checking in and staying tuned.
Good luck, and all best with your writing!
I just made this photo the desktop wallpaper on my computer...it is beautiful and inspiring, and should serve as a daily reminder to me of what I want to be doing!
