If taping occurs on Saturday, the date would be the 8th. I checked, because I thought I would be there to see it, but we don't fly in until Sunday the 9th! : (

That's so cool! I watch that show all the time. Good luck! I hope you win. Make sure you let us know when it's going to air. I was thinking about trying to get audience tickets since I live here anyway!!

Congrats, Jen! I think the only WSOP final table scheduled that day is for limit hold'em. I think I can skip out on that to swing by and cover the PokerDome.
Will it still be taping at the Tropicana, or will the permanent Poker Dome be finished yet? It'd be extra sweet if you were part of the first group in the "real" Poker Dome!

I had been wondering earlier (like StB sort of mentioned), do you get anything in place of the roundtrip air fair since you live here in Vegas?

I don't know how that process works, but John is trying to figure out how many tickets he can get. If you are serious about coming to the taping, contact him at schecky@gmail.com. If he's able to get what he wants, there might be 1-2 seats left.
And all you bloggers, someone bring the verizon card so you can live blog it! Ha! (not sure if they'd let you, but you never know)

It's pure coincidence that I had tickets to the one you're in, I'm covering the series for pokerworks.com and wanted to see it live, so I'm thrilled that it gets to be the one that you're on! We'll make signs and posters and shit like the hillbillies on the WWE!

To answer some of your questions.
1. I'm living in Pasadena (near LA) now, but I might or might not be in Vegas. If I'm in Vegas, I'll get limo transport, thats it.
2. BJ, it'll still be at the Trop. The Poker Dome won't move downtown until the end of July. Wah! :-( I'm really bummed I won't be playing down there, and won't be able to qualify again, but heck, this is still going to be an experience of a lifetime! Talk to John, he'll get a ticket for you. Or, I will.
3. I'm still not sure of the exact time. But I'm sure we'll figure it out.
Now for the REAL question that's on everyone's mind, but that no one wants to ask!
What are you going to wear??
